Late in the summer of 2014, I was one of twenty (mostly) Graduate students from the University of Washington who traveled to Denmark for a one month study abroad program. Part of the coursework was to create a final reflection piece upon our return to the States. My reflection consists of the twenty curated photos below. I decided that the spirit of the assignment demanded a more thoughtful and measured approach to photography than the cell phone, selfie standards of our day. The photographs in this collection was all taken with an early 1970’s Canon Canonet 28 35mm film camera using a mixture of Fuji Neopan Acros 100 and Kodak BW400CN film and were minimally processed (if at all) after scanning.
